Hello and welcome to the RTF 2025 Raid Train Team! You're building our finale celebration with a community raid train leading into the awards ceremony.
 

Key Event Information:

  • Raid Train Date: June 21, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM EST
  • Target: 10+ LGBTQ+ streamers (minimum 5 acceptable)
  • End Goal: Raid into awards ceremony at 6:00 PM
 

Your Role Details:

  • Team: Community
  • Reports To: Community Manager (marcylaycelle)

Recruitment Strategy:

  • Target: LGBTQ+ streamers from guilds, socials, stream teams
  • Ask staff members to amplify recruitment
  • 60-minute slots per streamer (can adjust as needed)
  • Coordinate with Discord mods for server portions

Recruitment Message Template (please reach out to Simmerthingz in the #digital-engagement channel for final copy):

"Hi! Want to join Rainbow Tech Fest's Pride raid train on June 21? We're celebrating queer tech creators from 12-6 PM EST. You'd stream for 30 min then raid the next person. Interested?"

Your Timeline:

  • By June 18: Begin recruitment, create signup sheet
  • By June 20: Confirm streamers and share schedule
  • June 21: Execute raid train coordination

Team Delegation Suggestions:

  • Assist with streamer outreach and recruitment
  • Monitor raid train during event
  • Spot issues and communicate them
  • Support day-of coordination
  • Discord channel creation and finalization
  • Coordination with Discord Admin (MisterCzar) to ensure raid train channels are optimal for success

Discord Coordination:

  • Work with Discord moderators for server integration
  • Set up announcement channels
